E X E R C I S E    XIV

+ Had you a friend some years ago when you were a little boy ?

- Some years ago, when I was a little boy there was a friend of mine.

+ Whose son was he ?

- He was the son of the merchant and was petted very much by his father.

 + And how does it so on then ?

- After the death of his father he became miserable.

+ Why did he become a miserable boy ?

- Because all the relations who used to be kind to him, while his father was alive have cared nothing

   of him. Instead of helping him, he was chashed away when he came near to the their houses.

+ And what was he doing then ?

- He was only patient and queit. His heart whisperd that he was also a man and he had also brain to

   betteren his life.

+ and what was about his idea ?

- the world was quite wide for him to earn his living. So he hated to beg help from his relations.

+ How was he after having been scolded by one ofhis uncle.

- after having been scolded by one ofhis uncle, from whom he wanted to beg help, he went hurriedly

  Home didn't say anything to his mother that he had been despised and scolded by his uncles.

+ What did he want to do for his mother ?

- Yes, he did. He frankly spoke to his mother that he wanted to go the town to earn a living and would try

   to struggle hard to help his mother.

+ And how was of his mother hearing it ?

- Hearing it, his mother didn't say anything. But she let her tears answer his demand. She only said that

  She would pray to God for his success.

+ What should he do in the town ?

- In the town, he worked hard in the day time and took some lessons in the evening. He didn't waste his

  Time, because he knew that he was not supported by anybody.

+ What happened after some years learning of his lessons ?

-  after some years learning, he had passed from final examination.

+ What did he do after that ?

- He joined anather high school for some years more and he also passed.

+ How at last was he ?

-          At last he was appointed as  chief of an office and was respected by people.

+ How was it the last ?

-          He took his mother living together with him and lived happily ever after.
